You know when you're hopping on a roller coaster that its going to be a wild ride, you go because of the thrill, not because you can take a nap on the dips and drops, but because it is destined to be barf-bag, adrenaline rush exciting! I feel I've started my own roller coaster journey and I'd like to hope my readers will be along for the ride. Nearly a year ago today I started writing again, all thanks to a little event called the NANOWRIMO... which is a LONG abbreviation of "National Novel Writing Month."
Yes, for all of you who know and for those that don't, it's that time again!! Starting November 1st, a month long of frenzied, fabulous writing, with a 50k word novel at the end of the race. The nanowrimo is the reason I returned to writing , forced my mind to spill out all the ideas I'd been holding back all the years of business school, and pursue my dreams as a fictionist <--word invention :D
So those of you who are amateurs, veterans, dabblers, join me for this year's writing extravaganza. Write with me, post comments of your progress to my blog and we can vent and slave over our writing together... with lots and lots of caffeine! So, release those ideas you have in your head and see if the world can handle it!
